Haywards Heath train station is 13 miles north of Brighton, primarily served by Southern and Thameslink. It features a ticket office and retail outlets offering refreshments. Trains depart for London Bridge and/or London Victoria (via Gatwick Airport) about 4 times per hour. Brighton via East Sussex and Littlehampton via Hove & Worthing trains run every 30 minutes; every hour to Ore. The station is a 10-minute walk from Beech Hurst Park Miniature Railway, or you can take the bus outside Sainsbury’s (40 or 39). The town centre is a little over 10 minutes by foot, walking south of the station.
