Nottingham train station is a 5-minute walk south-east of the city centre.

It's an 12-minute walk from Nottingham Castle, Museum & Art Gallery and the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham. Trams to both the University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University, as well as Skylink buses to East Midlands Airport (around a 30-minute journey) depart from outside the station.

Trains run to Leicester around 3 times an hour, and to London St Pancras and Birmingham New Street twice an hour. There are also hourly services to Liverpool Lime Street, Leeds, Cardiff Central and Norwich.
