Set to the west of the city, Oxford train station is less than 10 minutes' walk from the historic centre and its esteemed university colleges.

It's a 13-minute walk from the Ashmolean Museum, and a mile from both the Bodleian Library, and the Pitt Rivers Museum of archaeology and anthropology. Buses to Oxford Brookes University's Headington Campus depart from outside the train station.

There are regular trains to London Paddington. Hourly services run to Bournemouth, Manchester Piccadilly and Newcastle.
