Scarborough train station is set in the centre of the North Yorkshire seaside town. It's 10 minutes' walk from the beach and a mile from the ruins of the medieval Scarborough Castle. Buses to Whitby and the University of Hull's Scarborough Campus depart from outside the station. There are hourly trains to Liverpool Lime Street, via York, Leeds, Huddersfield and Manchester Piccadilly. Services also run to Hull.
